Led by Prof. Henry Kim and funded in part by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), ECL focuses on developing and applying AI concepts, models, and algorithms. Our research teams explore how AI can be effectively formulated and applied to a range of business challenges – from data analytics and enterprise modeling to improving decision-making.
We’ve collaborated with leading organizations including Stats Canada, the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, and numerous Canadian and international SME’s and startups. At ECL, we bring a rigorous, academic perspective to the world of AI, ensuring its responsible and effective implementation.
