Welcome to our laboratory. At YODA@ssb, we are working to help organizations make better decisions in today’s data-rich business environments.

Led by Prof. Henry Kim and funded in part by Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), our research teams are investigating how ontologies can be formulated as concepts, models, and formal representations, as well as algorithms and heuristics, and applied to blockchain design, data analytics, and enterprise modeling. Our aim is to improve decision-making by: training and enabling blockchain designers, data scientsts, and ontologists to produce high-quality applied research, valuable management insights, and entrepreneurial ideations.
